How is mining done currently?

Mining in Tanzania has historically looked one of two ways: a large conglomerate uncovering large amounts of gold and leaving nothing in return, or small groups of artesian miners with little to no equipment barely scraping by. We wanted to change that.

What do we do?

We have bridged the gap between artesian miners and the equipment they desperately need. We have provided local miners with the equipment and training they need to not just get by, but build a better life for their community. Going beyond the mine, we have provided the village nearby with a clean, reliable water source, and have plans to share the wealth by improving medical clinics, roads and schools in the area.

Who do we work with?

We work strictly with local communities and Tanzania citizens to build out these mine sites. Our goal is to create opportunities and jobs for the people who live in these areas.

Precious Minerals

East Africa is abundant with precious minerals and stones that can help supply the technology revolution.

Gold

A significant contributor to east Africa's export revenue, with metallic gold being one of the most valuable minerals exported.

Tanzanite

A rare and unique gemstone found only in Tanzania, making it a prized mineral for the country’s mining industry.

Copper

An important metallic mineral, copper is mined in east Africa, along with other base metals like nickel, silver, and platinum.

Uranium

A radioactive mineral, uranium is also extracted in east Africa, contributing to the country’s energy sector.
